January 27 marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp. In 2005, the United Nations General Assembly designated this day as International Holocaust Remembrance Day (IHRD), an annual day of commemoration to honor the victims of the Nazi era.

All in all, not a bad year.
Almost two weeks of winter break over, a little less than two more weeks to go!
I went after-Christmas shopping today and got underwear (thank you Gilly Hicks 10 for $25.50) and 50% off jeans and a coupon for a free bra from GH that I will hopefully go redeem in the next week, yay. I wanted to buy running shoes too but apparently I fail at finding the “Athletic Shoes” department in JC Penney. First time in a while that I have managed to stick completely to my shopping list!
Since the beginning of break, I’ve managed to watch almost three whole seasons of Gossip Girl—I can’t decide if this is impressive or scary. Probably more scary. Anyone who follows me on Twitter has probably read my many, many, many (many, many…sorry) tweets about it; LOL sorry I just have a lot of GG rants that I can’t tell anyone because everyone else is either caught up with the series or doesn’t watch it. In short, Jenny Humphrey is a raging bitch and I can’t wait for her to leave the series, Vanessa is not my favorite, I freaking love Chuck Bass, and Nate is hella cute.
I also finally checked my first semester grades after refusing to check them until after Christmas. Since today was December 26, I decided I couldn’t really put it off anymore.
LOL.
Dear God.
That is all I will say about them.
And that I hope next semester goes much more sucessfully.
